Aden.. Taxi buses are numbered with new metal plates

Today, Tuesday, the Traffic Department in the capital, Aden, launched the numbering of taxi buses with new metal plates, as part of its efforts to regulate traffic and enhance traffic safety.
These new plates are distinguished by their yellow color, with the name “Aden” written in Arabic and English inside them, in addition to the word “TAXI” on the side of the plate.
This step aims to facilitate identification of taxi buses, regulate the process of public transportation in the city, and enhance passengers’ confidence in using these means.
Director of the Traffic Department at Aden Security, Jamal Dayan, explained that this campaign comes within a comprehensive plan to develop the public transportation system in Aden, indicating that the administration will work to strictly follow up the implementation of this campaign, and ensure the commitment of all taxi bus owners to install the new plates.
This step was met with widespread satisfaction by taxi bus owners and passengers alike, as they expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Traffic Department for these efforts that contribute to improving public transportation services in the city.
