Mansoura Industry and Trade closes a number of meat shops for violating pricing

The Office of Industry and Trade in Mansoura District closed a number of meat shops this morning, Wednesday, for violating pricing according to the circular on livestock meat prices. Issued by the General Administration of the Office of Industry and Trade in the capital, Aden.

Director of the Office of Industry and Trade in the Mansoura District said that the five stores that were closed sold livestock meat at prices contrary to the prices set by the Office of Industry. In this regard, violations were issued to them and referred to the Public Prosecution, which directed the closure of the stores and the imposition of fines.
Faisal Muhammad bin Muhammad added that the closure work was carried out in coordination with Mr. Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, Director General of the Mansoura Directorate. He directed that appropriate legal action be taken to deter violators and protect the consumer from the greed of some merchants.
Inspection campaigns on prices and quality of the product offered to the consumer continue through the Office of Industry and Trade as part of joint campaigns implemented under the supervision of the Director General of the Mansoura Directorate.
