Expectations of a depression hitting a number of governorates

Azan Al-Qumairi, a weather enthusiast, predicted that a depression could hit the eastern regions of Yemen.
He added that the rain clouds are expected to advance, God willing, to reach large areas of Al-Mahra all the way to Hadhramaut during the hours after midnight and tomorrow morning, and to continue to advance towards the central regions of the country during the daylight hours.
Its effects are expected to reach the western mountain highlands and mountain basins on Thursday evening until dawn and Friday morning.
In turn, meteorologist Turki Al-Muhayya pointed to a humid eastern wave that appears clearly on various weather maps and appears to be quite humid. Enough to cause rainy thunderstorm cells in the heart of the dry Rub al-Khali desert.
He added: From the movement of the clouds, it appears that they are moving towards Al-Mahra Governorate and northern Hadhramaut, and perhaps deep into these governorates.
According to Al-Muhaya, it is unclear how deep this humid air mass will move towards western Yemen and the possible effects, as it may rebound towards the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea later.
