Tribal arbitration ends a traffic dispute and imprisonment in Aden

A majestic procession of Abyan tribes, including the Al Bakazim and Al Awadel tribes, arrived at the Al Qahim court in Al Mansoura in the capital, Aden, to arbitrate the case of Maher Hadar Sheikh Al Qahim, who was imprisoned for more than a month following a traffic accident, which resulted in damage to Al Fadhiyya’s son’s car. Sabah Alwan, and at the forefront of the procession was Commander Abu Mishal Al-Kazmi, Director of Security of Abyan Governorate, and a group of sheikhs of Abyan tribes.
The delegation of the Abyan tribes received sheikhs and social figures from the Al-Quhaim and Dhi Nakheb families, in addition to a large number of Yafi’ people, including Sheikh Hassan Al-Quhaim, Director General of Sabah District, and Commander Jalal Al-Rubaie, Commander of the Security Belt in Aden Governorate. Also present were Sheikh Adel bin Mohsen Jaber Al-Saadi, Sheikh Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Battati, Sheikh Saleh Al-Quhaim, Sheikh Hussein Nasser Al-Kahali, Sheikh Al-Quhaim Saleh Hassan, Abdullah Saif Al-Quhaim, and Dr. Muhammad Ahmed, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at Abyan Community College.
The tribes of Abyan, led by Commander Abu Mishaal Al-Kazmi, offered their apologies and appeals to the people of Yafa’ for the imprisonment and suffering that happened to the expatriate Maher Al-Qahim. Yafa's sheikhs and notables welcomed this arbitration, stressing tolerance and ending the case with all its consequences.
During the meeting, the sheikhs of Yafea stressed that the arrival of the people of Abyan with this large crowd is considered an honorable position, and that tolerance is the basis for resolving disputes. With this fraternal meeting, Maher Al-Qahim’s case ended, and everyone confirmed that there was no existing lawsuit after this fraternal arbitration.
