In light of a stifling economic crisis, Aden’s teachers are complaining about the delay in disbursing June salaries

Teachers in the capital, Aden, are suffering from a delay in disbursing their salaries until June 2024, which has exacerbated their difficult economic living conditions, especially in light of the collapse of the local currency.
The teachers expressed their great surprise at the delay in disbursing their salaries, noting that financial reinforcements had been provided by the Ministry of Finance.
While the salaries of Taiz Governorate teachers were paid for last June, Aden teachers are still waiting without any clear justification for the delay.
It is noteworthy that delaying the payment of salaries constitutes a great burden on teachers, who suffer from difficult economic conditions and are forced to borrow to meet their basic needs.
The teachers appealed to the concerned authorities to quickly disburse their salaries, and to find radical solutions to address the problem of periodic salary delays, to improve their living conditions and enable them to perform their duties to the fullest.
