Shabwa.. Work continues to remove sand from the international coastal road in Arqa and Al-Nashima Radum

Under the auspices of the Governor of Shabwa, Sheikh Awad bin Muhammad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, and the continuation of emergency work efforts to remove sand on the international coastal road, Aden, Shabwa, Hadhramaut, in the Arqa area, as well as Al-Nashima, Radhum District, Shabwa Governorate, the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Shabwa Branch, and under the supervision of the Office of Public Works and Roads, continues and implements the removal of shifting sand. Which works to obstruct the movement of vehicles.
Engineer Awad Diman, Director General of the Roads and Bridges Corporation’s Shabwa branch, confirmed that the ongoing work is emergency work to remove sand from the international coastal road linking Aden, Shabwa, and Hadramaut, which is located in the Irqah area and the Al-Nashima area, Radum District.
Engineer Diman explained that sand removal work is continuing at a high pace, especially since we are in the cous season, which requires additional and continuous efforts to facilitate the movement of travelers.
These works come within the efforts of the branch of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges in Shabwa Governorate, under the directives of the governor of the governorate, Ibn al-Wazir.
On a related note, the local authority, Radum District, Shabwa Governorate, asked the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, the main center in Aden, not to stop work on removing sand during the wind season, which extends until mid-September 2024.
The Director General of Radum District, Mr. Hadi Saeed Al-Kharma, thanked the efforts of the Governor, Sheikh Awad Muhammad Ibn Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, for his communication and follow-up of sand removal work with the Road Maintenance Fund, the main center in Aden, and the Roads and Bridges Corporation in Shabwa, to overcome all the difficulties facing citizens and hindering their movement.
