Polish border guard patrols found the body of a Yemeni engineer thrown in the forests on the border with Belarus.
A Yemeni diplomatic source in Russia reported that they were informed that the body of a Yemeni engineer named Issam Al-Haislan was found in the forests between Poland and Belarus.
He indicated that the identity of the deceased was verified and it turned out that he belonged to the engineer Al-Haislan, who previously held the position of Director of Supervision and Follow-up in the Works Office in Shabwa Governorate.
The source explained that the engineer Al-Haslan died while trying to immigrate to Europe across the Polish border, noting that he had disappeared at the beginning of this year after leaving Yemen following his change of position.
According to the source, Al-Haislan holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and was marginalized by the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, which forced him to attempt illegal immigration to Europe.
Since last January 7, the Heslan family said that he had disappeared in the Polish forests, after entering the country through an Algerian smuggler called “The Algerian Compass.”
The daughter of “Al-Haislan” said that her father was seeking to reach Germany, where his brother lives, and that he was suffering from difficult health and living conditions in Yemen.
Many people who attempt to immigrate to Europe illegally are exposed to death from starvation, extreme cold, or disease, especially on the border between Poland and Belarus, where they remain for days and months in remote areas between the two countries.
The absurd war waged by the Iranian Houthi gang against the Yemenis for ten years, and caused the deterioration of the living conditions of millions of Yemenis, prompted many of them to attempt to immigrate to Europe and other countries in search of a decent life.
