The King Salman Center distributes food aid to needy families in the Socotra Archipelago

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed food aid to families in need in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate, as part of the sixth distribution cycle of the life-saving aid project for the affected population in Yemen, implemented by the Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief.
The project includes distributing 1,411 food baskets, benefiting 8,466 individuals, in the governorate on a regular basis every two months for a full year, in the districts of Hadibo and Qalansiyah.
The distribution of food aid comes in light of the economic conditions and the unprecedented deterioration of the local currency, which has made it difficult for poor families to obtain the food they need.
It is noteworthy that the project includes distributing food aid to 253,659 individuals in 9 governorates for a full year, with the aim of ensuring equitable access to food for groups suffering from acute food insecurity
