He continued, "I stand before you today with pride and dignity, in the sides of a city with a long history, and next to me now, as I speak, are Hisn Ibn Ayyash, Dar Nasser, Dar Al-Bayani, and the eternal landmarks of Al-Shahr, a memory that did not escape the imagination of any Hadrami or Arab when this city was resisting a more severe colonial invasion in That time was the Portuguese invasion.”
He expressed the interest of the local authority in the governorate in the city of Al-Shehr by implementing a number of development projects there through paving roads, constructing the Corniche, revitalizing the port, and activating cultural programs.
