Faraj Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, revealed the approval of the names of the negotiating delegation of the Leadership Council scheduled to engage in negotiations with the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in any future talks.

In press statements today, Wednesday, he expressed his optimism about achieving progress in the peace process, stressing that the efforts to achieve peace led by Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman are continuing, in light of the great regional and international support.

He pointed out that the proposed road map begins with a ceasefire, normalizing the situation, opening roads to facilitate citizens’ affairs, and opening airports and ports.

He said that Saudi Arabia is making extraordinary efforts to reach a road map to achieve progress in the peace process, pointing to the high coordination with the Saudi side in all steps that push towards achieving peace.
