The solar energy station in the capital, Aden, proved the solidity of its structure and its ability to withstand harsh climatic conditions, after the city was exposed to a strong wind storm yesterday. 

Social media users have circulated pictures of broken solar panels, claiming that they are from the Aden station, but this information is inaccurate.

According to an official source: The bases of the Aden station panels were designed with the latest engineering technologies, making them able to withstand wind speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour, while the maximum wind speed recorded in Aden does not exceed 120 kilometers per hour. 

This durable design ensures that the station continues to operate with high efficiency, even under the extreme climatic conditions witnessed in the region. 

This station comes as a strategic project to provide clean and renewable energy to the city of Aden, and contributes to reducing dependence on traditional energy sources. It was provided by the UAE, the capital Aden, and produces 120 megawatts.
