At least 14 people were killed, 60 others were injured, and about 20 homes were damaged, as a result of the explosion of a gunpowder warehouse in the Yemeni governorate of Amran, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, north of Sanaa.
Local sources said that the horrific explosion that occurred in the village of Beit Silan in the isolated hall of Jabal Yazid District in Amran Governorate, yesterday evening, Tuesday, was caused by an explosion of a gunpowder (dynamite) store in the home of an arms dealer named Muhammad Ahmed Silan, and resulted from poor storage. .
The sources explained that the explosion killed at least 14 people, injured 60 others, and damaged 20 homes, including 5 homes being completely demolished, and many cars that were present near the site of the explosion were damaged
The sources indicated that the injured were transferred to hospitals to receive treatment, while the militia authorities did not issue a comment on the horrific incident.
