The Commander of the Coast Guard Forces in Hadramaut, Colonel Muhammad Omar Bamhair, appreciated the efforts made by the local authority in Al-Deis Al-Sharqiya, represented by the Director General of Awad Muslim Al-Ajili, by sitting with the Coast Guard Forces, the Fisheries Authority, and the fish associations in the Directorate.
The Commander of the Coast Guard urged Bamheer to stand with the fishermen, provide the necessary support and services, appreciate their living situation, stand with them in the fishing process, and cooperate with them in a way that does not violate the regulations governing fishing, remove all difficulties, address all the problems they face during their work, and facilitate the measures taken. He also appreciated their keenness to preserve fishermen. On the property of fishermen and determining safe places for them to anchor their boats and provide them with protection.
Bamahir stressed the importance of coordination between all competent authorities in order to facilitate fishermen’s procedures at landing sites, organize the fishing process on the coasts in regular ways without violating the regulations, and hold accountable everyone who transgresses in order to preserve the safety of their lives.
