For the second time.. The director of the Transport Office in Aden directs the suspension of collections on the streets of the capital

The Director General of the Transport Office in the capital, Aden, Nawras Farid Barakat, directed the suspension of all taxes imposed on buses transporting passengers on tours and streets, stressing the necessity of limiting the collection process to the sorters only.
This was stated in an official memorandum addressed to the directors of the transportation offices in the capital’s directorates, which referred to a previous memorandum dated July 23, 2024 AD (Reference: WN/FA/121/8/70), where the directives issued at that time were not adhered to and illegal collections continued. .
Barakat stated that the continuation of these taxes is illegal and irregular, calling for immediate implementation of the directives and stopping the violating parties, threatening to take strict measures in the event of non-compliance.
The Director of the Transport Office stressed the necessity of adhering to these instructions to ensure that the process of collecting fees is organized legally and in an orderly manner, expressing his appreciation for all the efforts made in this regard.
