The Director General of the Office of Economic Studies and Consultations, Real Estate Development and Logistics Services, Dr. Khaled Al-Akbari, met with the Office of the Social Fund for Development, Mukalla Branch.

During the visit, the Director General, Dr. Al-Akbari, was briefed by the Director of the Social Fund for Development, Mukalla Branch, Dr. Awad Laqsam, about an explanation of the Fund’s activities, and he informed him of the tasks of the Office of Economic Studies and Consultations and its most prominent objectives.

Al-Akbari pointed out that the office comes as an urgent necessity in providing strategic and specialized studies in view of the shortcomings that most institutions in the public and private sectors in Hadhramaut governorate suffer from, as well as the need for citizens to obtain the services of these institutions with complete ease.

For his part, Director of the Social Fund for Development, Dr. Laqsam, praised the efforts made by the Studies Office to implement strategic projects that will work to bring about a qualitative shift in the field of studies and planning at the public and private levels, stressing the Fund’s interest in opening horizons of cooperation between the two sides to provide service to society.

The Director General of the Office of Studies and Consultations stressed the importance of establishing numerous partnerships with various governmental and private sectors and study and research centers to implement projects that simultaneously serve citizens, public institutions and businessmen.
