Al-Mahra: The Industry Office destroys tens of tons of barley drink

The office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Al-Mahra Governorate destroyed seventeen tons of expired malt soft drink in the presence of employees of the Control and Inspection Department of the Office of Industry and Trade, Mr. Muhammad Al-Hammadi, brother Saad Salem Saad, brother Muhammad Al-Saqqaf, and the representative of the Al-Ghaydah Prosecution, Nasser Katrouri.
The destruction process came after a series of field monitoring campaigns on the commercial stores in the city of Al-Ghaydah markets, which resulted in the seizure of many materials that had previously been destroyed.
While the Director of the Bureau of Industry and Trade, Mr. Abdullah Khodem, explained in a statement about the Bureau’s supervisory plan, field work, and seizure campaigns that the Bureau carries out periodically with the aim of deterring all those manipulating consumer health.
Khodem indicated that the field campaigns are being implemented based on the directives and keenness of the leadership of the local authority in the governorate, represented by Muhammad Ali Yasser, the governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, who pays special attention to and supports all the office’s activities, like other government offices.
