There is a great reluctance in Aden to buy petroleum and diesel and change cars to natural gas

The interim capital of Yemen - Aden, witnessed a great reluctance by taxi and transportation vehicle owners to purchase petroleum and diesel, as they resorted to changing their cars to natural gas.
What prompted taxi owners to change their cars to gas was the rise in the prices of petroleum derivatives, as the price of a 20-litre tank of petrol reached 29,000, while diesel reached 32,000 for a 20-litre tank. The price of a gas cylinder stabilized at 7500
Despite the risks involved, changing cars to gas, it was the only solution for taxi owners, who were driven by life circumstances due to their inability to purchase petroleum and diesel.
Because commercial activity declined greatly due to the inability of citizens to buy their supplies, at a time when the country was experiencing high prices and a decline in the local currency, citizens were forced not to go to the markets, which prompted taxi owners to change their cars to domestic gas.
This phenomenon has spread throughout the country and has been adopted by most taxi owners, forgetting the harm it may cause to their lives and the lives of their passengers.
