The European Union reaffirmed its support for efforts to achieve peace and end human suffering in Yemen, which has been witnessing an ongoing war for nine years.
This came in a statement by the Union’s special envoy to the Gulf region, Luigi Di Mario, during discussions held In Brussels with the Head of the Yemeni Mission to the European Union, Muhammad Taha Mustafa.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the intransigence of the terrorist Houthi militias towards all initiatives proposed to bring peace.
