The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, praised the high level of discipline, readiness and physical fitness among the students of the Military College in the capital, Aden.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari said during his visit today to the Military College, along with the Commander of the coalition forces in Aden, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Harbi, “The country is going through many challenges and is suffering from the war imposed by the terrorist Houthi militia for more than eight years.” He pointed out that the militias The Houthis claim the divine right to rule and do not recognize the other, and thus it is not possible to reach a settlement with them, no matter how much peace efforts they make.
The Minister of Defense added, “Today the bet is on colleges, academies, and military schools that are reliable in creating men and leaders and producing new blood and creative energies.”
He pointed out that batch (52 - batch of hope) is the basic nucleus for supplying the armed forces with qualified, trained and leadership cadres to qualify the armed forces units and achieve victory on various fronts.
In a speech to the college’s members, the Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the political leadership, represented by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and members of the Council, on the occasion of the national holidays of September 26, October 14, and November 30.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari and Brigadier General Al-Harbi witnessed a military parade by members of the 52nd batch on the occasion of our people’s celebrations of the national holidays of October and November.
