It said in a statement, "In the past 24 hours, it successfully destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi drone and two anti-ship ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis from the areas they control in Yemen over the Red Sea."
She noted that “these weapons posed a clear and direct threat to American forces, coalition forces, and commercial ships in the region.”
She continued in the statement: “This reckless and dangerous behavior by the Iran-backed Houthis continues to threaten regional stability and security.”
In a related context, local sources reported violent explosions that shook areas south of Taiz Governorate, on Tuesday evening, amid reports of civilian casualties.
Unofficial Houthi sources reported that American and British aircraft launched a raid on the city of Al-Rahda in Khadir District, south of Taiz Governorate.
