The Criminal Court in the capital, Aden, resumed, on Wednesday, the trial of the Houthi terrorist cell accused of bombing military crews in Tur Al-Baha, Lahj Governorate.
The fifth session of the case, headed by Judge Yahya Al-Shuaibi, and in the presence of the Commander of the 8th Reserve Brigade, Brigadier General Yasser Al-Somali, witnessed the unveiling of new evidence from the Public Prosecution, including letters and video clips of some of the defendants in cases of bombing military crews in Tur Al-Baha.
The cell was involved in several bombings, including the bombing of the kit of the commander of the 8th Reserve Brigade, which led to the death of his son, 4 others, and a number of wounded.
The judge decided, due to the failure of a number of defendants from the central prison in Bir Ahmed and the absence of one of the defendants from the Fifth Brigade Prison for reasons, to adjourn the session to August 21 to review the rest of the evidence.
