Today, in the General Directorate of Lahj Governorate Police, the turn of receipt and handover took place between the Director General of the Governorate Police, the predecessor, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Junaidi, and the Director General, the successor, Brigadier General Nasser Muhammad Al-Shouhti.

The Receipt and Handover Committee was composed of the Minister of Interior by Administrative Order No. (5) of 2024 AD, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Financial and Human Resources Sector, Major General Dr. Qaid Atef, and the membership of the Director General of the General Administration for Officers Affairs, Brigadier General Abdo Al-Subaihi, and the Director General of the General Administration for Personnel Affairs, Brigadier General Khaled Muqaylib and a representative of the General Administration of Logistics and Supply, Colonel Nasr Muthanna, and the Director of the Logistics and Supply Department in the Lahj Governorate Police Department.

Following the receipt and handover process, which was attended by the Director of the Office of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Financial and Human Resources Sector, Brigadier General Imad Al-Hamidi, the members of the Receipt and Handover Committee expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the former Director General of Lahj Police.

They also expressed their wishes to the new director of the Lahj Governorate Police, Brigadier General Nasser Muhammad Al-Shouhti, for success in his new duties, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of the Interior, led by His Excellency the Minister, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, to provide all forms of support and cooperation to the security services to ensure that they carry out their tasks entrusted to them in securing and protecting citizens. And public and private property, and establishing the foundations of security and stability in the various liberated governorates, especially Lahj Governorate.

They stressed the importance of enhancing the spirit of cooperation and continuous coordination between the various security agencies in the governorate and enhancing community partnership to enhance the efforts of the police department and enable it to achieve the set goals and perform the tasks assigned to it in the best way.

The reception and delivery process was attended by a number of security, military and local leaders in the governorate.

It should be noted that His Excellency the Minister of the Interior, Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan, issued Resolution No. (229) of 2024 AD appointing Brigadier General Nasser Muhammad Mohsen Al-Shouhti as Director-General of the Lahj Governorate Police, based on the proposal of the Lahj Governorate Governorate - Chairman of the Security Committee in the governorate.< /p>
