Thirteen individuals confessed to forming a Houthi terrorist cell heading to Sanaa, which is controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, to recruit and train them, and to return to Hadramaut to destabilize security and stability in the governorate.
The cell's confession came in the investigation carried out by the security services in Hadramaut after they were arrested by a joint security campaign between the security forces and the armed forces, which carried out extensive monitoring, reconnaissance and investigation operations by a joint campaign of the Special Security Forces and the 23rd Mechanized Brigade.
The network includes 13 individuals, aged between 18 and 25 years. They were on board a white Noha Lou bus and a gray brick car. They were surrounded while they were standing in a restaurant in Al Abr District. They were placed in prison to complete the legal procedures and will be referred to the specialized prosecution.
The security services continue their tasks in monitoring and pursuing these terrorist cells and will strike with an iron fist in arresting those who are out of order and the law, as it was mentioned in the cell’s confessions about the existence of other cells who were recruited previously.
