A massive fire that broke out this afternoon in a residential apartment in the city of Al-Qaloua, in the capital, Aden, caused the death of two women and the injury of a child.

Local sources said that the fire broke out due to the ignition of a gas cylinder in the house, causing the entire house to burn down.

They indicated that the mother and her daughter-in-law died as a result of the injuries they sustained, while a child was injured and taken to the hospital.

The civil defense, Al-Qalaa police, and forensic teams moved to the fire site, where they carried out operations to extinguish the fire and treat the injured.
