A campaign was launched today, Monday, August 12, 2024 AD, to remove and remove random stalls and stalls, and to remove waste from an important street in the Tur Al-Baha District, Lahj Governorate, as part of the efforts of the local authority to improve the appearance of the district center and its public streets.
The campaign, the work of which he personally supervised, targeted the Director General of the Directorate, Mr. Afif Al-Jaafari, and the Director of the Public Works Office in the Directorate, Engineer Wahib Aklan
The campaign targeted the back street that passes from in front of the qat market to the college gate, which had recently witnessed a large “spread” of randomly placing stalls on the street, in addition to obstructing the traffic of citizens and cars.
The Director General of the Directorate, Mr. Al-Jaafari, confirmed that the campaign was carried out in the public interest and in preparation for upcoming paving works on the street, and the campaign will continue its work until the task is accomplished, noting that the owners of kiosks and random stalls have been given advance notices by the Public Works Office before implementing the removal campaign.
It is worth noting that the campaign was accompanied by extensive compacting and leveling works on the street and the restoration of what was left over from the sewage project work, which is still being worked on in the streets of the center of the district
This campaign received widespread satisfaction from the citizens, affirming their support and support for such campaigns that impose the prestige of the regime on anyone who tries to tamper with the appearance of the directorate.
