Mabkhout bin Madi, Governor of Hadhramaut, today, Tuesday, visited the city of Mukalla, following the heavy rains and torrential rains it witnessed, as a result of the effects of the seasonal tropical wave that affected the governorate.
He toured around Al-Mukalla, especially the neighborhoods of Dis Al-Mukalla, to see the damage caused by the torrents that were accompanied by strong winds, which resulted in the sweeping away of some citizens’ cars and damage to some public streets.
The office of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in the Hadhramaut Coast and the Cleaning and Improvement Fund reviewed the efforts to open roads and remove waste, the extent of the damage and urgent interventions to remove waste.
Governor Bin Madi directed that the damage and remnants of the floods be quickly removed and roads opened for citizens.
