His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, expressed his condolences and sympathy to the families and loved ones of the deceased, as a result of the fire that broke out in one of the residential buildings in the Al-Qaloua area in Al-Tawahi District.

An official source in the local authority said that Governor Lamlas directed the executive agencies to follow up on the incident by directing civil defense crews to put out the fire, and ambulance and medical crews to evacuate the residents, and provide the necessary care for the injured and affected.

The responsible source added that Governor Ahmed Lamlas also directed Mr. Badr, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate’s Local Council, and the leadership of the local authority in Al-Tawahi District and the Health Office in Aden, to immediately descend to supervise operations to deal with the fire and provide aid and therapeutic and in-kind services to the afflicted.
