Today, in the capital, Aden, an agreement was signed between the Social Fund for Development and Al-Ghaba International Company (Dom International), to implement the project to establish a collection water tank (the first region) in the Al-Barzakh region in Khormaksar District, at a cost of 2 million 749 thousand and 865 euros, with financing From the German Development Bank and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Fund by the Director General in Aden, Fouad Taher, and on behalf of the company by the Director General of Public Relations, Mukhtar Zaghina, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Governorate’s Local Council, Badr Maoun, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Najib Al Shaabi, and the Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation. The project includes the construction of a welded steel tank with a capacity of 18 thousand cubic meters with all the connections and accessories necessary to install and operate the tank.
A deputy stressed the importance of the project, as it will contribute significantly to water storage and ensure the supply of water to the directorates of Aden Governorate, even in the event of any breakdown of the supply sources.
