Large crowds of people from the Lahj Governorate, in their local advance of the Southern Transitional Council in the Governorate, on Friday mourned the body of the martyr, Captain Sanad Hammad Al-Hushbi, commander of the Habeel Hanash border front, to his final resting place in the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Al-Musaimeer District.
The funeral procession began, in which Mr. Wadah Nasr Al-Yamani, interim CEO of Hajj, Commander of the 14th Thunderbolt Brigade, Brigadier General Othman Moawadah, Commander of the 13th Brigade, Ali Al-Nubi, and a member of the National Assembly, lawyer Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, a number of members of the local leadership of the council in the governorate, and security and military leaders, from Al-Jumhuriya Hospital participated. In the capital, arriving at the capital of Al-Musaimeer District, where his body was buried after praying over him in the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the District.
They praised the martyr’s virtues and his roles, his oppressive and honorable national stances during a hypothetical revolutionary life, pointing out that through his martyrdom the South lost one sincere figure and a brave military commander known for his stances and toughness in various stages and in carrying out all the military tasks assigned to it.
Nayef Sanad Al-Hushbi was martyred last Tuesday when a number of his companions were targeted by the Houthi militia on the Habeel Hanash border front in Al-Musaimeer District.
