Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Education in the capital, Aden, held a ceremony honoring the top ten Yemenis who qualified for the Arab Reading Challenge competition, under the generous patronage of Commander Abdul Rahman Al-Muharami, member of the Presidential Leadership Council.
During the honoring event, which was attended by leaders from the Ministry of Education and its offices in the liberated governorates, leaders in the local authority in Aden, parents of students, social figures and a number of media outlets, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Education Sector, Mr. Muhammad Ali Lamlas, delivered a speech during which he stressed The presence of our students in Dubai is not to participate, but to compete.
The agent, Lamlas, appreciated the generous support provided by Commander Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, the first sponsor of education in our country, to the participants in the Arab Reading Challenge competition.
After that, the participating students introduced themselves, displaying some of their skills that were appreciated by those present in the hall.

The Ministry and the Office of the Representative Al-Muharrami, in the ceremony that witnessed singing performances presented by the school singing group in Aden, led by Maestro Anwar Musleh, honored the ten winners of the competition across Yemen with honorary shields and symbolic gifts.
The ten students who qualified for the Arab competition underwent a training program during the past three days, during which they received linguistic and rhetorical skills with the aim of preparing them to participate in the final stage next October in Dubai, in the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
It is worth noting that this Arab competition, in which Yemen is participating for the first time, has resulted in high-level efforts led by a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, to open the door to competition for 50 male and female students, of whom 10 students excelled to represent the country in the Arab world in the reading competition. After undergoing an intensive training program in the skills of expression, rhetoric, thinking, improvisation, and other skills in the art of public speaking.
