The United Nations announced that it has received approximately $100 million from donors, to support the humanitarian response plan in Yemen for the current year 2024.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that, as of August 14, the total funding received for the plan had reached $740 million, an increase of $94 million, compared to last July 24, which was estimated at $646 million.< /p>
He explained that most of the new additional funding for the humanitarian response plan during the recent period came from the United States of America, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the European Commission, Britain, France, and other donors.
