Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Shaye’ al-Zindani arrived today in the Russian capital, Moscow, in response to an official invitation from his counterpart, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

During the visit, discussions will be held related to bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, issues of common interest, and meetings will be held with some institutions and official bodies.

The Foreign Minister will also meet with the Yemeni community and Arab ambassadors in Moscow.

He was received upon his arrival by the representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Baghdanov, the head of the Protocol Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Igor Bagdachev, the Yemeni ambassador to Moscow, Ahmed Al-Wahishi, and members of the Yemeni embassy.
