Security belt forces in the capital, Aden, led by Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rubaie, today arrested two leaders of the terrorist Houthi militia. Initial investigations proved their involvement in war crimes, espionage, and child recruitment in areas under the militia’s control in the Yemeni governorate of Taiz.
An operational source revealed that the two Houthi leaders who were arrested are: Abd al-Mu’min Muhammad Ismail, with the rank of brigadier general, who was appointed by the Houthis as the agent of Taiz Governorate, which is under the control of the militia, and the second, Abd al-Hakim Abd al-Mu’min Muhammad Ismail, works as a supervisor affiliated with the Houthis.
The source confirmed that investigations proved that the defendants were involved in their terrorist activities and work on behalf of the Iranian-backed militia, enabling the militia to control strategic sites in the city of Taiz, and mobilizing young people to fight with the Houthis.
The source explained that the first accused, Abdul-Mumen Ismail, had joined to work for the Houthi militia in 2016 AD, and admitted his association with the so-called Sultan Al-Sami’i, a member of the so-called Supreme Political Council affiliated with the Houthis, in addition to prominent military leaders in the militia. He also had a card confirming that he held a position Vice President of the Houthi General Forum on the West Coast.
As stated in the file of the second accused, Abdul Hakim Ismail, that he works for the Houthi militia, and holds the rank of captain and deputy director of the morals protection department in criminal investigation in Taiz, Yemen, which is under the control of the Houthis.
The defendants were arrested by the security belt in the capital, Aden, according to a source information report confirming their activity and work on behalf of the terrorist Houthi militia. They and the records of collecting evidence and seizures found in their possession were referred to the criminal prosecution designated for Aden so that legal procedures could be completed against them.
