Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, today, Thursday, issued a decision assigning his deputy, Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami (Abu Zaraa), to manage the security and counter-terrorism file.

Under this assignment, Brigadier General Al-Muharrami is responsible for fully supervising the work of the security forces and combating terrorism, in addition to restructuring and organizing them in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability throughout the southern governorates.

The last article of the assignment decision stipulated that it be effective from the date of its issuance, and that any previous assignment that conflicts with its provisions be canceled and published in the Official Gazette of the Council.
