On the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the Southern Army, Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, praised the experience of building the Southern Armed Forces after the first independence.
Al-Zubaidi wrote on his Twitter page: “The experience of building the southern armed forces after the first independence was one of the distinguished national experiences at the level of the region, which can be inspired and benefited from its lessons, experiences and successes as part of the living memory and historical legacy of our people.”
Al-Zubaidi confirmed in his tweet that this occasion carries a long legacy of sacrifices, victories and national achievements achieved by the southern armed forces throughout history. He pointed out that these achievements will remain immortal in the memory of the southern people and in the context of their struggle for self-determination and building their southern state, stressing the importance of preserving the military and security institution as a symbol of the will and independent political choices of the southern people.
