The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold its regular meeting on Yemen at the end of next week, to discuss the latest political, military and humanitarian developments and the faltering peace efforts in the country.

The UN special envoy to Yemen is scheduled to present; During the open session, Hans Grundberg and a representative of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs will give two briefings on peace efforts and the humanitarian situation in the country, while the head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA), Major General Michael Beary, will provide; A brief report on the mission’s work in the closed consultation session.
