In a move that he considered positive, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Muharami, appreciated the decision to pay financial dues to military and security employees who were forcibly removed from their jobs in the southern governorates.
Al-Muharrami confirmed in a post on social media that this step, although it came late, is a victory for the rights of employees who have suffered from great injustice over the past years, indicating that it is the result of continuous efforts made to resolve their issue.
Al-Muharrami called on all concerned parties to continue working to achieve a comprehensive solution to the issues of expelled employees, and to guarantee their full rights, stressing the importance of providing justice to all members of the military and security corps and addressing the outstanding issues.
Al-Muharrami stressed the national and moral responsibility that requires standing by everyone who has been harmed, calling for continued efforts until rights are returned to their rightful owners and social justice is achieved for all the people of the country.
The Yemeni government announced today the start of disbursing salaries for the last three months of the year 2024 to more than 35,000 military, security, and deported employees, in an amount of more than 9 billion riyals, through Al-Qutaybi Bank
