Police departments in the liberated Yemeni governorates received 456 reports of various criminal cases during the past week. During the same period, they were able to arrest 302 crimes, while search and investigation efforts and procedures are still underway in the governorates for 154 crimes to uncover their circumstances and arrest the perpetrators.
According to the security situation reports issued by the Command and Control Operations Room, the crimes seized were distributed between 90 crimes of intentional harm, 42 crimes of various thefts, 40 crimes of assault on the property of others, 16 insults and cursing, 14 crimes of fraud and fraud, 12 crimes of threats, and
The security services also seized an average of 4 crimes of damaging private property and indecent assault, and an average of 3 crimes of intentional murder, kidnapping, shooting and exchanging gunfire, intentional bombing, and consuming and promoting alcohol.
The rest of the crimes were distributed in varying numbers, including seeking wealth, harassment, illegal seclusion, adultery, disturbing peace, disobedience to one’s parents, defaming one’s reputation, indecent acts, begging, rape, and smuggling Africans.
The reports of the operations rooms in the governorates indicated that 357 defendants were arrested, distributed among the governorates according to the following: Taiz Governorate 98 defendants, Ma’rib Governorate 77 defendants, Hadramaut Al-Sahel Governorate 57 defendants, the temporary capital Aden 37 defendants, Shabwa Governorate 26 defendants, and Al-Dhalea Governorate 21 defendants. And the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert 20 defendants, Al-Mahra Governorate 10 defendants, Al-Hudaydah Governorate 6 defendants, and Abyan Governorate 5 defendants.
