Today, the Shamlan area in Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthis, witnessed a horrific murder, as a TikTok celebrity named Somaya Al-Adi shot Aqel Al-Hara’s wife, Muhammad Ali, killing her instantly along with her seven-month-old fetus.

According to social media users, the incident occurred after the victim, who was seven months pregnant, came to Sumaya’s house to ask her to stop publishing allegations related to Sumaya being harassed by her husband (Aqel Al-Hara). 

In response, Somaya pulled out a machine gun and fired two shots at the victim, killing her instantly. 

The incident caused widespread shock in the region, and caused great controversy on social media, as Somaya had previously accused Aqel Al-Hara of harassing her on her digital platforms.
