Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Wednesday, the Ambassador of the French Republic, Catherine Corm Kammoun.

The meeting touched on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, local developments, regional developments and their ongoing repercussions of attacks by the terrorist Houthi militias, agents of the Iranian regime, on oil installations and international shipping lines.

In the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council renewed his praise for the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries, and the advanced position of the French Republic in understanding and approaching the Yemeni issue, looking forward to an active European role at all levels.

He affirmed the commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to a comprehensive and just peace approach in accordance with its nationally, regionally and internationally agreed upon references, in particular Resolution 2216, in a way that ensures the restoration of state institutions and an end to the human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
