Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Leadership Council, discussed, today, Saturday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Shaye’ Al-Zindani, the latest developments in diplomatic work.
During the meeting, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, he was briefed on the results of the Foreign Minister’s visit to Russia, to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, as part of efforts to consolidate relations with brotherly and friendly countries, in a way that enhances political and diplomatic support for the Presidential Command Council and the legitimate government in their battle against militias. The meeting discussed the situation of embassies abroad, and ways to enhance their role at the current stage, especially in light of political and military developments.
Major General Al-Bahsani stressed the intensification of diplomatic efforts to strengthen international relations in a way that supports the stability of our country, stressing the readiness of the Leadership Council to provide the necessary support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to carry out its duties.
He said that the diplomatic successes achieved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs support the military and political efforts made on the ground, and that the consolidation of foreign relations is reflected in the expansion of international support for our country in facing challenges.
