The Aden Governorate Court of Appeal held its session on Monday morning, headed by Judge Muhammad Al-Junaidi and in the presence of the representative of the Public Prosecution, Judge Fadl Muhammad Hassan, and the accused, the Khormaksar Police Chief, Aden Governorate (A.S.M.), in Miscellaneous Application No. 1 of 2024 AD, an opinion poll submitted by the Appeals Prosecution. South Aden regarding the cancellation of the judicial arrest status of the Khormaksar Police Commander, Aden Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel (A.S.M.), due to serious violations committed during his work.
In the session, the court issued the following ruling:
1/ Accepting the request submitted by the Chief Prosecutor of Appeal in South Aden regarding lifting the status of judicial police.
2/ Dropping the status of judicial police for a period of two years starting from the date of pronouncement of the ruling.
