The Yemeni delegation to the current session includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Shaye’ Al-Zindani, the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Abdullah Al-Saadi, and the Yemeni Ambassador to the United States, Muhammad Al-Hadrami.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council will deliver, later Thursday, the Republic of Yemen’s speech to the UN session, in which he will address developments in the national situation, and the vision of the Council and the government regarding the opportunities for achieving lasting and comprehensive peace based on the terms of reference agreed upon nationally, regionally and internationally, in addition to the position on Some developments at the regional and international levels.
The opening session began with a speech by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and the President of the current session of the Assembly, Philemon Yang, which is being held this year under the slogan “Leaving no one behind: working together to advance peace, sustainable development, and human dignity for current and future generations.”
