The Minister of State, Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, discussed today, Wednesday, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance for the Endowments Sector, Dr. Wadah Al-Shabhi, the importance of organizing the work of Endowments and Guidance, in accordance with the legal regulations governing tasks and responsibilities, as well as possible ways and procedures to protect endowment lands and control their revenues.

The attendees agreed on mechanisms to organize work, coordination and communication to confront the problems immediately... stressing that the utmost efforts will be made for cooperation and community service, and to reject all foreign phenomena and extremist ideas.

In the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Local Council, Badr Maoun, and the Director General of Mosques in the Ministry, Hisham Abdel Aziz Al-Mihdhar, Lamlas stressed the importance of the Waqf’s awareness and guidance role and achieving optimal benefit from the mosque’s message, stressing the need to focus on issues that pose a threat to society in Foremost among them is the scourge of drugs, random shooting, and phenomena and behaviors alien to Aden’s civil and peaceful society.

He pointed out the importance of criticizing practices that are outside the law and order, whatever they may be, as well as rationalizing discourse, and urging moderation and moderation in dealing with the problems of reality.
