The Chairman and members of the National Committee to Investigate Allegations of Human Rights Violations met today with our country’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the European Headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva, His Excellency Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujawar.
The meeting touched on the activities, events and meetings carried out by the National Commission of Inquiry in Geneva, on the sidelines of the 57th session of the Human Rights Council, and the results expected from them.
The head of the committee, Judge Ahmed Al-Muflhi, expressed his appreciation for the role played by our country’s embassy in the Human Rights Council within the framework of the state’s directions and continuing efforts to establish the state of law and institutions.
The Yemeni ambassador also appreciated all the important roles played by the National Commission of Investigation and its continuing efforts at the local and international levels to redress the victims and achieve the justice that the Yemenis seek.
