Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital directed a mobile medical clinic to the Mutif area in the far southeast of Socotra using a helicopter, in coordination with the air rescue team.
Upon its arrival, the medical team began conducting a medical examination for a number of medical cases in the area, and also examined the elderly with chronic diseases to ensure their safety and the stability of their condition.
The humanitarian step came after roads to remote areas were cut off due to the effects of Cyclone Tej, which struck the archipelago two days ago, with the aim of providing medical and health care for elderly citizens
