Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi militia, appeared with an exhausted face and a hoarse voice in a speech in which he condoled the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, for the killing of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli raid on southern Lebanon.
Al-Houthi affirmed, on Saturday evening, that "Hassan Nasrallah's blood will not be in vain," noting that the assassination of Nasrallah represents "a loss for the entire Islamic nation." He added in his speech: “We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Ali Khamenei, our brothers in Hezbollah, and the Lebanese people, for the affliction of the Islamic nation with the martyrdom of the great Mujahid Hassan Nasrallah.”
Al-Houthi indicated that "the Zionists' hopes will be disappointed in their greatest crime," stressing that the operation will not lead to retreat or complacency, but rather to greater escalation. He also stressed that his group will not let Hezbollah down at this critical moment.
This comes after the Israeli occupation army announced, this evening, that it intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen towards Tel Aviv, in a new escalation following the raids that targeted Hezbollah sites in Lebanon.
