Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Council Member Othman Majali left New York City, at the conclusion of the presidential participation in the discussions of the seventy-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the high-level UN discussions, Al-Alimi put world leaders before the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, the vision of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the government to restore the path of peace, and end the human suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and members of the Council, Aidroos Al-Zubaidi and Othman Majali, also held bilateral meetings and extensive discussions on ways to reduce escalation and deter the threats of militias and terrorist organizations to the stability of Yemen and international peace and security.
Weding farewell to Al-Alimi and a member of the Council were Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Abdullah Al-Saadi, the Yemeni Ambassador to Washington, Muhammad Al-Hadrami, and a number of members of the mission and the embassy.
Saba Agency did not indicate where Al-Alimi would go, while confirming that he would arrive in Riyadh, his semi-permanent residence.
