The UN Fund indicated that the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) it leads, in cooperation with its implementing partners, was able, during the reporting period, to provide life-saving emergency relief to 60,493 families (423,451 people), which represents 86.5% of the total families. Affected women registered for assistance in 20 affected governorates; Among them, 22% of families are headed by women, 10% are persons with disabilities, while 21% are elderly.
The report explained that the aid distributed to affected families varied between multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), one-time general food aid, and emergency shelter.
