An American newspaper said that launching attacks on Yemen is one of the goals of the Israeli occupation to respond to Iran, after the missile attack on Tuesday night.

The American newspaper "Politico" quoted American officials as saying that the United States is communicating extensively with Israel about a response, which may include a military strike.

They added that among the possible options under study are direct strikes on Iranian-backed groups or directly on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces in Yemen or Syria.

 Aides to the US President expressed their preference for strategic, but limited, retaliation.

US President Joe Biden on Wednesday told reporters that he does not support an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites, although he did not provide details about talks with Israel about this threat.
